Return Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Unopened, unused parts may be returned within 30 days. Return terms depend on whether the item shipped from our store or was ordered from CNH on your behalf. See the sections below for full details.
Eligible returns
You may return new, unopened parts in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Parts must be unused, undamaged, and in resaleable condition. The refund amount and shipping terms depend on the item's source — see "Return terms by item source" below.
Returns for defective parts are handled separately and are not subject to the same time limit. See "Defective parts" below.
Return terms by item source
Items we have in our store
Parts shipped directly from Clinton Tractor's own inventory can be returned for a full refund of the item price. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. There is no restocking fee on items we stocked ourselves.
Items ordered from CNH on your behalf
Parts we ordered from CNH (New Holland, Case IH, or related CNH brands) to fulfill your order are subject to CNH's supplier return policy. These returns incur a 20% restocking fee deducted from the refund. The customer is also responsible for return shipping costs.
If you are unsure whether an item was in our store or ordered from CNH, contact us before returning. We can confirm the source and expected refund amount.
Defective or wrong-item shipments
If we shipped a defective part or the wrong item, neither restocking fees nor return shipping costs apply. See "Defective parts" below.
Fitment and compatibility
You are responsible for verifying part fitment before ordering.Returns due to incorrect fitment (wrong part for your equipment, wrong part number ordered) follow the "Return terms by item source" above. Parts that have been installed, modified, painted, or otherwise altered cannot be returned except as defective under warranty.

How to return
- Contact us to request a return authorization. Include your order number and the reason. We will confirm the item source and your expected refund amount.
- Once approved, pack the part securely in its original packaging (or equivalent) and ship it to the address we provide at your own cost. We recommend using a trackable carrier.
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the part, minus the applicable restocking fee (if the item was CNH-sourced).
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective part).
Defective parts
If you receive a defective or damaged part, contact us immediately. We will arrange a replacement or refund. Defective parts covered under manufacturer warranty should be returned per the manufacturer's instructions; we can assist with the process.
Claims for damage in transit must be reported promptly and may require photos or documentation. Please retain original packaging until the claim is resolved.
Core exchange
For core exchange programs (e.g., returning a used engine block or transmission for credit), specific terms apply as described at the time of purchase. Core returns must meet the program's conditions and be returned within the specified timeframe.
Non-returnable items
Some items cannot be returned: special orders, custom-machined parts, fluids and chemicals (if opened), and items marked as non-returnable at checkout. If in doubt, ask before ordering.
